Crazy situation going on up there, but a far to common we've seen across the country. People not being consulted on migrants being housed in disused property.

Goes to show what a community acting together can achieve. Shame they'll eventually be moved on by Guards to continue housing these people without taking communities thoughts into consideration

Funny that, considering Irish homeless increased from 11,000 in 2022 to 13,500 in 2023. Sure Roderic and co. couldn't give a hoot about them lot

Caught a bit on the news last night, typical Rte narrative, painting anyone in the protest as racist and then wheeling out mc entee to spout inclusion shit at us, yeah send them out into the sticks Helen, they’ll not mind🙄, fair play to these people for getting organised, this craic has to stop

All I will say is the governments and the Irish media seem to be calling a rather Sizeable majority of the population racist lately . . .

The protest seems to be settled now. There will be women and children housed in the hotel. Did the government bow to pressure? Was that carla4garda speaking on the rte news? Did anyone see it.
