So as 2023 draws to a close and we make some New Year resolutions. The usual ‘get fit, drink less, eat healthy’ etc all feature for many. What about visiting escorts? You may want to visit more or you may actually be thinking visit less or stop altogether for 2024. Which leads me to ask. Is visiting escorts a sure sign of sex addiction? Do you have limits that you stick to rigidly or are you compulsive? I started this 7 months ago and worry that it may be a habit. What I thought would be a kind of experiment has become more than that. I have spent more than I thought I would. Most of the experiences have been amazing hence the continued visits. Could you stop if you wanted to. I am still of the mind it will run its course but maybe I m fooling myself. Just interested if anyone is in similar mindset.

Nature designed us men to want to play with sexy women, and The Game has been around for ever as a result. Each of us has his own paths and preferences, and a "habit" is another way of saying it's interfering too much with your ordinary life. The limits are time and money. You might start collecting cars or GAA medals instead - but again you could spend a load of time and money on that sort of thing, and not on what matters in your everyday life.

Same as with the drink, most of us like a drink but you know your limits.

This site is well designed for the occasional punter and the more obsessive type. I'm in the first group, and gave up reviews some years back as they did some sort of software upgrade that didn't work for me. There's no right or wrong involvement, you do what suits you best. Variety is the spice of life.

To the lay man, punting would certainly be considered a vice. I’ve dabbled in all at some point. I gamble occasionally. Did drugs on a handful of occasions during college and at a few random gaffers after here and there, and I also enjoy a drink. Punting is by far the best for me.

The physical and mental benefits are phenomenal I’ve found. It genuinely makes me feel amazing. The fatigue after is bliss and the walk/ drive after is just top class

I’m at a point where I’m saving enough each month and still enjoying myself here, being thankful and proud that I have the financial freedom to do this at the frequency I do.

The only point that eats away at me is committing infidelity on the regular.

I’m 26 now. My attitude and desire to punt might drastically change when I get to 30. Who knows

My plan for 2024 is to keep punting. I don’t want to be in denial, it might well be an addiction. But if an addiction can bestow such physical and mental benefits, it’s an addiction I’m happy to sustain.

Stay going Ford. The way I look at it is continuing is not an addiction. Controlling, or lack there of, for me defines addiction.

If reducing frequency to 1 visit each month keeps you in the game and slowly you fall back into 1-2 sessions per week, then addiction is present and maybe quitting is a good option.

For me, I have control and I see a long future for myself in this game I can easily go down to 4 per year for any reason but personally quitting is not an option I’m looking at anytime soon. I don’t consider myself “addicted”. Adickhead, yes maybe.

My Opinion on this is, if it is causing you financial pressure, as in you feel you are overspending, if you are feeling guilt and shame about visiting escorts, If you are having those thoughts “I can stop if I wanted to” But the reality is that you cannot,
Then yes it is a problem for you and is there something you need to address.

I don’t think it’s that you are a sex addict - As I have said on this forum before I often have clients say to me that they believe that they are Sex addicts Because they masturbate daily and see escorts - And my response to that is “no, You are just an ordinary healthy male, Full of testosterone and sperm, Men produce millions of sperm per day, women ovulate once a month hence The often variation in libido between males and females.”

I would say to you, if seeing escorts is resulting in these difficulties for you, then perhaps you are addicted to the thrill and the excitement of seeing a new lady, the adrenaline rush of arranging the meeting and seen her in person etc etc

Personally ive more interest in less but longer meets, had an amazing dinner date the other day. While I love the sex part, i also really enjoy a ladies company.

As regards cost, if i go out in Dublin for a.session, it generally costs €200 to €300 and a lost days work the following day, so it really.fepends on what one enjoys most.

One think for sure is i wont stop enjoying beautiful ladies company until they dont want me anymore lol.
