You're ALL idiots! As are the below:
- Religion vs Religion
- Religious vs Atheists
- Vegans vs Carnivores
- Pro-X vs Anti-X (x being a variable cause)
- Scientists vs Creationists
- Etc etc etc
ALL SUPREME IMBECILES! WITHOUT EXCEPTION!
Why? Well, once you commit yourself to any ideology, you are then bound by the rules and 'scripture' of that ideology. You become shackled, being forced to either submit or be alienated. I think it was Anthony the Great who said: "A time is coming when man will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack that person saying 'You are mad, for you are not like us'".
And that can pretty much be applied to anything, either the examples I have at the start or anything else with two or more opposing sides.
Humans are stupid. Ridiculously so. Look at the world today. How many billions, probably even trillions, are spent annually on defence worldwide? Well what are we defending ourselves from exactly? Oh that's right, ourselves. Really? 2023 and we're basically still as f*cking primitive and barbaric as we were 40,000 years ago?
The problem with the old 'Ideology X' vs 'Ideology Y' argument is that there's no room for compromise. The issue is that people are so fixated in their beliefs that they refuse to compromise! See, this is what I meant earlier by being bound - you are completely restricted by whatever rules or doctrine that you're supposed to follow as part of your particular ideology. And as soon as you question that, you basically become a leper within your own community, and this is where Anthony the Great's quote comes in. You're declared mad because you dared question the 'divine scripture', which is about as divine as a broken condom.
Not one person has the answer to everything. Not one side has the answer to everything. Compromise isn't just about negotiating to achieve a peaceful outcome, it's to create a balanced outcome. And therein we have the answer: balance. Everything in the universe is about balance. Light vs Dark. Good vs Evil. Life vs Death. Chaos vs Order. And so on.
Unless your head is hidden in the sand, you'll likely have noticed that modern democracy has become nothing more than a big fat joke, a bad one at that. Compromise has become all but extinct. The modern policy of choice is "my way or the highway". That's a one way system, going completely off track. Can be applied to anything. Politics, modern media, all sorts. The modern game is all about the hidden narratives now, governments the world over having become nothing more than puppets, their strings being yanked by their masters in the shadows.
They want obedience. They want sheep. They want absolute Order. They detest Chaos. That's why they're slowly trying to remove people's ability to think critically. That's why it's always a "Left vs Right" campaign that you're reading in the papers., seeing on the news,etc etc etc. Don't define yourself by stupid labels. Cos that's all they are! Liberal, conservative, black, white, and so on. Race? There's only one race on this planet and it's called the human race! Stop this needless segregation of peoples simply because they look different. I'm human, you're human, we're all human. Our ethnic backgrounds might be different, but all those are are just variations as a result of thousands of years of evolution in different environments across the globe! THAT'S IT! I'm no more human than you, you're no less human than I!
Chimpanzees and humans share over 98% identical DNA. How small a difference do you think there is between all of us, if there's a less than 2% difference between us and chimps? Don't be a sheep. Think for yourself. Don't commit yourself to pointless labels. Be open to compromise. It's far better to be a jack of all trades, than a master of one.
