I doubt many of the rioters know what right or left even mean.

Nobody knows better than the poor in the centre of Dublin about the mismanaged tax payers money that hasn't been spent on education, health, policing or housing.

You should take a walk around Dublin day or night and see the junkies on every street and imagine living in the squalor.
The business owners complaining that recidivist criminals continue to cause havok for businesses while the Gardai do nothing. Courts that let criminals caught 100+ times back out on our streets

But how dare they complain. The cheek of them.
As long as our government can lick the arses of their mates in Europe and tell each other over dinner with a fine bottle of wine, how great they are, at the expense of the peasants.

    Let them eat cake.

But let's not address the issues, let's make it illegal for them to protest.
And I don't mean riot, although we wouldn't be talking about it it this didn't happen.

    Conor McGregor for Taoiseach.
The really laughable part about that is, if you could laugh at this is he would probably do a better job than the current lot.
What a sad state of affairs when I even think this as a possibility

I agree with a lot of what you’ve said TonyB, For a change, lol, NOT the Conor McGregor bit (google “ Famous Irish sports star sexual assault”, money can solve some peoples problems eh?) And not that the Gardaí do nothing, if there’s people in court with 100+ convictions walking free the guards are clearly doing something, however it’s the courts that are continuously given these guys bail, continuously giving them concurrent sentences, so when they get bail and they know they are going to have a sentence coming up, it’s like a free pass to rob all around them knowing that if they are caught any Sentence that they get Will be to run concurrently, can you imagine how frustrating that must be for the Gardaí, to have criminals laughing at them as they walk free from court, after the Gardaí putting in the effort to investigate a crime and bring them to court?

And yes it wasn’t far right activists robbing Canada goose jackets out of footlocker. Scrotes.

She broke her own hate speech law.

She's getting all those slurs out of her gob before the law comes in.

Saying that, I don't think Helen has a colleague who shot a prison officer in the head while making his escape from prison.
And annually celebrated that murder on social media, public etc.

The knackeres and scumbags that caused mayhem last week in Dublin would not even vote in an election. All their intent was to wreck havoc in the city. At this stage of their life they are a lost cause already. Resources needs to be pumped into these areas to try and prevent the next generation and the one after that from also carrying on the same way. I have no idea how you do it. If a homeless family in the inner city was offered a house out in Meath or Kildare they wouldn't take it. They wouldn't survive. They would be a fish out of water. Sadly I don't see any solution, short term or long

I had a car stolen last April. The Gardai didn't want to know. I had to make a complaint to the Superintendent to get them to even record it. In the end they pulled it in and told the driver the car was reported stolen. He had purchased it. They let him drive off in my car and left it up to him to return it. This is nuts.

My house was broken into 10 years ago I am still waiting on the Gardai to appear.

My father's house was broken into while he was home. He heard nothing. Neighbours placed 3 999 calls before calling me.
I raced over and had 7 Garda cars follow me to his house. I thought they were going to help my father, no they wanted to arrest me for speeding. I'm not exaggerating, the neighbours had batons and were fit to fight them given their response or lack of.

The Gardai are useless, completely ineffective and I don't care if they are demoralised, they are dysfunctional and need someone to seriously take them in hand

You don't think the reasons they act like this should be addressed?
Your want to fix the symptom not the cause?
    That's not the answer.

Housing, health care, policing are not working and people are frustrated.
The rich don't see any of this, they're relatively unaffected.
Run a business in a shit area and you'll know all about it.

It's salvageable but not with this government. They want to bring in laws to silence criticism so they can continue to line the pockets of them and their friends.
And I'm not saying vote Sinn Fein because they're a bunch of gobshites that will have us back in the middle ages in a heartbeat.

I've just realised, I should be in politics.
