I wasn't offended by ep's comments re immigration but clearly at least one person was, so I have removed them.

I think you should let them be offended and not censoring reasonable, honest posts at the drop of a hat. There's nothing wrong if the truth of someone's feelings actually comes out and people don't like it, they are doing better for knowing what someone is thinking instead of living in a fantasy world. They can decide whether the person's opinion is worth something or not then.

Maybe? My policy towards such things to date has always been to remove if anyone is offended. It's a bit like a very graphic photos of some sexual act... I will remove if we get any complaints as that means someone has been offended. Clearly I wasn't offended, I found ep's letting off steam quite humerous, but I am Admin of this site and it is my job to remove anything that is offending if it could possibly be seen as racist or whatever else.

Look at the only guy who found it offensive Patricia, 3 of his 5 reviews have a rat next to them.

Take a look at a few of his posts: https://www.escort-ireland.com/board...earchid=572387

Would you not find most of them offensive trolling by any fair-minded person???

And still, all it takes is a "I'm surprised at you Patricia" for you to remove the reasonable unracist post of an established member trying to share his thoughts and opinion. Obviously he will think twice before writing out such a thing again or maybe heading to this site again, you've censored him.

Points taken but the marker we've always used for removing content on the grounds that it is offensive is:
    (a) someone has reported it as offensive and
    (b) we can reasonably see that it could be construed or found as offensive by some people, i.e. it is not a totally unwarranted objection
If those two criteria are fulfilled I remove.

I accept I may not always do the best thing as I am up all night trying to fix problems on this site and sleep deprived so often I can think straight a lot of time

well I'm disappointed with u Patricia its a weak decision to 'censor' a paragraph of my thread no I'm not being racist at all but people need to speak out without fear of being labelled racist I've spoken about foreigners playing the racist card before Irish people need to see this for what it is theres an absence of free speech here NGN u made some good points.....

patricia according to your own rules there maybe anna23's post in this thread and other threads about irish men being unhygenic and not washing properly should be removed also.
i find them comments very offensive and even a bit receist.
just think of the commotion that would be caused if anyone said that about a black or indian person.
