I read this elsewhere today and thought to share it here.
"I have no idea who you are, but I will tell you, lately it seems the more a person or group loudly proclaim that they believe sex is a sin, except for in certain scenarios, the more likely it is that we later find out that they are into something that is kinky as all hell or they are downright morally reprehensible and partaking in highly illegal sexual activities. If that is the group of people you want to associate with, more power to you, but I would never trust my kids with someone I think “doth protest too much"."

Methinks so too. It does always seem a bit guilt driven or pious one-upmanship. A way to make themselves feel better at the expense of others.
