For awhile there the British pound was two to one versus the American dollar= one pound got you two American dollars. And if I worked in Belfast where the going rate was 100punds for 30mins., I could have charged 50pounds for the 30mins, because I would have made it up once I got to America, let alone my dollars would have gone further spendingwise in Amerca because things are less expensive here.

And further more, I doubt seriously that she gets many clients who'll avail of her services for that price, more than likely clients will feel sorry for her and pay more just so they don't feel guity about taking advantage of her. Plus she might be engaging in piecemeal pricing and charge for extras everythng-If I know there's loads of girls in a place that there was money to be made, I'd hope i'd have the sense to make the most of my earning potential and fuck what the going rate was and get what I could at a price that would get me the most money.

I don't think it has anything to do with nationality, if you take some other countries that some girls working in Ireland are from the conversion is much better than when you convert Euros into Reais.

As Kat said it is a free market and each girl can choose which kind of escort she wants to be and which client she wants cater for.

Being an escort if you are going to make the same amount of money as you would if you were doing a "proper" job it is better to do something else, at least you can tell everybody what you do and nobody will judge you and you wont be under the risks that we are being escorts.

I think the point being missed here is that its not exchange rate thats the real issue but the spending
power where this lady comes from. The €40 she gets for 15 mins probably has the same buying power in parts of Brazil that €120 that an uk girl gets for 30 mins will have in london. She is coming
from a country where in parts up to 80% live on the poverty line so i would think her expectations are different. One other vital thing are overheads,the way these girls work and other independents
are totally different,Dublin in particular has many apartments where girls can rent a room for €50
a day theese may be 2 or 3 bed apts with more than one girl using each room so they are still turning alot of money.Again the fact that they will usually stay a month or longer due to the distance
they come they stay in cheaper accomadation they have apartments where they will share with a few
girls keeping down overheads,when one leaves there will always be another to take her place
so if uve a monthly rent of say €1000 divided between 4 girls its only €250 each plus €1500 for
work place (30 x50) that comes to €1750 for the month, not even €60 a day
