Psv v arsenal is one of the early games. Nothing at stake for either team as the group is decided. I would expect arteta to rest most of the first team, maybe give ramsdale, soares, elneny, nelson, smith rowe , kiwior and some of the youths a run out.

The intersting games tonight are in group A. Utd v bayern and copenhagen v galatasaray. Can utd do their job and beat bayern? Its a big ask. Bayern are 39 group games unbeaten with 35 of them wins. And even if utd do win they still have to rely on the other game been a draw. Who will finish 2nd, who will go to the el and who will be out of europe altogether?

Arteta makes 8 changes but both saliba and gabriel start. Thats a bit of a surprise. What if either of them get injured in a meaningless game? Ramsdale makes his cl debut and soares and elneny make their first starts of the season. I'll go for 2-1 to psv.

Varane starts tonight, thats a bit of a surprise. He has only started one game since august. Maybe eth thinks he will be able to look after harry. Its hard to know what utd will turn up. I'll go for 3-2 to bayern.
