This country is not a great pick if you’ve an aversion to rain, it poured her for about 6 hours yesterday, the long term omens are not good

I am just back from 10days away in 37degs sunny — now pained by the gloom and wet .

I'm no weatherman but this does seem like an exceptionally wet July to me. The case for pulling up the anchor and heading for somewhere sunnier gets stronger by the hour.....it's difficult to wake up to each new day knowing you'll be spending it indoors or running through buckets of water falling down on top of you.

On the other hand, I'm beginning to think that Ireland will one day become the worlds lifeboat. Looking at what's going on in other places in Europe where people are almost literally frying in the streets, it may be that continuous rain seems preferable to the alternative.

Anyway, sodden Ireland is home for now. As someone once said, it's not bad weather that's the problem, it's bad clothing.

Plenty of them… I love the rain! But obviously not every day to the extreme…

i’ll take it over forest fires, drought and heatstroke any day but that’s the opposite end of the extreme 🔥☔️🏖
