It all comes down to finance in my humble opinion, Utd missing out on champions league cash flow next year not many players they can move on for significant profit will I think shape the thinking about keeping him next year so I would be surprised if he is still in charge

Big opportunity for spurs to go into the top 4 this evening when they are at home to forest. They have 2 games in hand on villa and are just 3pts behind them. Big game for forest too though, they are level on points with luton but have a game in hand. How will nuno get on against the club that sacked him just 4 months into the job?

It will be interesting ok, I can ‘kind of’ understand why it was ruled out as the wording of the law states currently. It still requires the referee to interpret the situation as that wolves player was interfering with play. The problem is another referee may decide he is not. Aside from that I think it is just wrong to rule out a goal in such circumstance but I think they over complicate the game now with governing bodies changing and adding rules. I can understand wolves fustration as they have had a few dubious decisions not go their way this year and I would add that one to the list

Quansah starts ahead of Konate . Big challenge for him against Rashford.

I think liverpools consistency will win out at the end of the day. I'll go for 2-1 .

Almost the perfect start for utd but garnachos goal is ruled out for offside. Then a super save by onana at the other end. Its a lively start.

Utd look very good early on , Liverpool appear nervous.
    Early booking for Bradley.
