I have a request to make regarding the new reviews system.

I sometimes disagreed with nbt, but at least I knew who he was. Now there are more people involved, and there are often unsigned comments on the reviews. In addition, reviews are often ratted without an explanation given. For example, there are currently five ratted reviews in the "Latest Reviews" list. None of them have any explanation given. I'm not saying any of these decisions are wrong, just that it's much harder to trust someone if you don't know who they are and why they're doing what they're doing. I think that this should never happen. For message board posts and blog posts the system automatically adds a note saying who last edited them and when, and it prompts for a reason which is added to the note. I would like to see something similar for reviews, but in the interim I would ask everyone who edits or rats a review to insert such a note manually.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

Agreed. This was one of the changes on the list - that you had to give a reason for ratting reviews and it noted who had left comments - and I thought it had been done already, but obviously not. Thanks.

    Two points;
    1) you should be allowed to post a review of an escort that you know is using fake photos even if you have not made an appointment. It is important to advise others of this. It is easy for an escort to dispute this by sending a verification photo.
    2) If a review is disallowed for some reason, the reviewer should be notified.

I think that we have to live with the fact that this website is not a charitable institution, nor is it owned by people that we may like or respect. However, I have difficulty in seeing any connection between this website and pimping, at least in the Dublin scene that I am familiar with.

    Incall Location:
    Physical Appearance:
    Service Provided:
    Value for Money:
    Overall Satisfaction

Simple aggregation will then give % score

Also create a count per service received ... e.g. A=4 means: on 4 reviews the reviewer claimed A as a Favourites Enjoyed. This is especially useful as not all escorts perform all listed services , and some perform services not listed as favorites

Put these aggregates on a "review statistics tab" per Escort.

Also make these fields searchable through the main search (not just the review search)

Also if the standard deviation for the above 6 factors is high, that should be noted (as in indicates controversy/disagreement between reviewers)
On the accuracy of photos field, I have seen some foreign sites where you are given the choice of clicking on 100% accurate, it is the escort, but photographs are old, 10% photoshopped, 30% photoshopped, 50% photoshopped, or completely fake.

Regarding physical appearance and service provided, some sites where you can score the escorts from 1 to 10, restrict first-time reviewers or newbie members to giving a maximum of 7 etc.

A quick question on additional reviews..
If I have already reviewed a girl, is there any point in doing another review?
As I see it at present the old on will be deleted and the new one goes in its place, is this correct ?

So if there is nothing else to add is there any point ?

Also it might be good to add some sort of verification that the escort could do after the review has been posted.
For example if there was a question the punter had to answer about the escort that wasn't visable in the review, then the escort could log in and if her answer matches the punters the review would be then verified.
    A password or something.

This would at least stop guys just posting reviews of girls they have never met.

It may be a bit simplistic an idea but could be a help.

Yes, an old review would be deleted in this case. However, there could still be merit in posting a second or subsequent review, even if all the services, service quality, location etc were all as before.

Firstly it would indicate a more up-to-date assessment of the escort in question by the reviewer. Secondly you could mention that this was your 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc visit to this escort and that you had previously reviewed her on x prior occasions. As such, your review would probably carry more weight then that of a first time reviewer or a first time client of that particular escort.

Finally, your new review will count towards the Escort of the Month competition.

P.S. Finally, finally, it would greatly please the brothers who are addicted to reading the saucy advertures of dave1dave.

    Angry reviews !!!

Am I missing something?? I submitted 3 reviews in December and none were posted. What is the fairness in awarding escort of month when all reviews by genuine reviewers are not posted ???. No response to 2 emails /messages to E-I , enquiring as to why. Not the 1st occasion in past year with same experience. Begining to smell a rat with the review system.!!! Hope I'm wrong!!!!

You're not far from it... I've been told by many reviewers that they've submited a review and it never appeared.... Only thing you can do is to submit it again.. and again and again - untill it goes trough.
Unfortunately the focus is on something else.

Personally i think, that all we need to focus on is the genuinity of reviews and them to be posted when submited. No need for milions of unnecesary features like shiny badges etc. if they are given to people with no credibility and not given to others who deserve them...............
