Oh Lord, I have a serious Tik Tok addiction, watching it not making videos for it I'm afraid!! But I'm struck by the amount of young ladies on it glamourising their life as an escort, not a good idea I think, who knows how this could come back to bite them in the future, with future employment if they retire from escorting, future relationships, future children . . .
Also, escorting is NOT for everyone I dont believe that it should be glamourised as it's a tough industry that could really affect those not cut out for it. Contray to popular belief it is not "easy money", you really do need "balls" to do this work and figure the industry out to have it work best for you. I see these young ladies glamourising the money and the lifestyle, the generous clients, but what about negotiating the endless amount of misogynistic men, emotionally abusive men, mentally disturbed men, the pitfalls of alcoholism or drug addiction??
Know it's a bit off topic but if you notice a trend with escorts on tik tok, theres the younger ones glamourising it, then older ones who "got out" and are critical of the industry.
I genuinley love my job, I've no intention of retiring, but I certainly wouldn't be giving career guidance for this industry, if I did I'd be saying it has nothing to do with how slim or how pretty you are, how tough are you, how street smart are you, what is your attitude towards men, how do you think this could negatively affect future choices in your life . . .
