imagine asking your dictator for permission to leave
identity documents may be the reason you could face execution
certain countries refuse to register children born in their territories or territory they control (occupy) if the child is of a different ethnicity / religion , usually a minority
(example Indian controlled Kasmir )

Ireland is not a racist country,far from it.
We have no problem with genuine refugees but alot of the people coming in are economic migrants claiming to be refugees.

And Ireland for years had economic emigration all.over the world

It was mentioned on today fm that those presenting themselves at customs without documents may actually have a passport with them.

The guards don't even search them. They have an interview.

I would advise people to listen to as many different news outlets as possible. Make up your own mind about who's impartial.

I watched that interview - the throwaway line : just see if they’d tried that at a US airport .

Re. the ROI No search at passport control when presenting with false or no documents .

/ according to the govt. official’s estimate they do Not discard the documents , simply Say they don’t have .

No search > they Can say whatever .


Saw another piece on OZ procedure : present without legit travel documents , the person is interrogated

at length about the country , town / village they claim to be from ; about their neighbors and friends ,

asked for those people’s phone numbers , and OZ authorities follow up to verify . Not much manpower .
