It is beyond stupid to lie to the guards. Name, address and that's it. Anything else and it's with your solicitor. Don't lie.

Reason they rang my number and questioned me was they had accussed a married couple of running a brothel which they were denying, so they were now trying to get people who visited the place to sign a statement to say they visited that location and met an escort there, they said if couple accepted they were caught the witnesses would not be called but if they continued to plead innoncent the witnesses would be called to court to testify, i dont know how it finished up as i got no more contact from them but they definitely cops as i saw id etc,

Well you would never be caller if you denied visiting an escort there.
Like you give evidence, yes I was in an apartment and no there was no eacort there. That's hardly going to help them get a conviction..You do not need a reason to be in a n apartment or a shop or a hotel etc.
