No. I'm against police brutality in general. Regardless of any race involved.

Heard her on the radio this morning, group of 14/15 attacked the bus in Jobstown I think. Tried to pull her out of the bus, but she managed to hold on and stay in the bus, horrifying ordeal for her. Not all the attackers were kids/teenagers some grown men involved.

There's no excuse for the guards not to apprehend these gits. Cameras everywhere now especially in Dublin.
    They could be easily identified.
The guards are too busy watching apartments and contacting landlords though.

I'll be complain to the garda ombudsman, it was like something from America.

I understand it was a fairly serious crime but they kid xoud of been killed!
Maybe the kid was known to the Garda in question from having done the same thing before.

No doubt some of our good citizens will consider it OK to post details up on Facebook of the Garda {& his family} and where he lives.

When we were kids we respected and were slightly afraid of the garda, and it would be looked down on if you were to have the Gardai arrive at your home due to your bad behaviour.

The streets were a lot safer then and it was acceptable for a Garda to give a fella a slap on the back of the head.

Today with all our PC world there is no respect for the Gardai and our streets are not safe. Yet these people who have no respect for tge garda are the First to call 999 and cry wolf when attacked.

Anti social behaviour would not have been tolerated 30 years ago, now excuses are made for the scum that terrorise people.
In 1979 2 scumbags threatened me and a friend demanding money. Thankfully someone called 999, the 2 scumbags got 3 months each as it was their 2nd offence. Yes 2nd offence of threatening behaviour and got locked up. The streets were lot safer then

Stealing a car, joyriding, no insurance, resisting arrest. FFS he got away light. What do you call excessive force ? I hope he also got a boot in the balls and his nose is facing the opposite way to the way it was
