sorry this is a sobering perspective. Stop and enjoy every moment you can this year and make the most of it. Should at least slow the passing time.

But I completely agree with the second part of your post, this is how I live my life, live in the present not in the past or the future, and be grateful for all the little things, the simple things That we so often take for granted, like happy times with our families, a roof over our heads and food in the fridge a walk in nature, it really is the simple things that are good for the soul in my opinion.

Talking about years, it was the wife’s birthday during Xmas, I told her happy birthday, we are now 107, told me to feck off, I wasn’t dragging her down with me 🤣Jaysus when you put it like that, almost a quarter of a century. . . Wow.
