Tbh, Liberty, I never really understood how ElGordo's list worked, but I didn't look at it too deeply.
He comes across as an educated guy, who has put a lot of thought into getting a balance, and
there are some members who have, in the past, stated that they have great faith in ElG's system.

Sorry, my "inflation" comment was a bit cryptic. When I first started doing this back in 2009 there were about 17,000 reviews in the system. Now there are about 54,000. I increased it from 50 escorts to 100, but still the number of escorts with enough reviews from established reviewers is much higher and it is now ridiculously hard to get (or stay) on the list. To give you some idea how ridiculously hard, the top 23 ladies on the list have no reviews where the "overall satisfaction" is anything other than "very happy". At this point one "fairly happy" out of eight is enough to knock you off the list. When there were fewer escorts, fewer reviewers and fewer reviews the cutoff point used to be much more reasonable.

I have only just made it onto the list after years of working as a touring escort. I too felt that the name of the list was a little misleading as I am reliable but didnt ever meet the criteria to make the list.
However, I am now on it and after 8 yrs of working I feel I bloody well deserve to be as I have earned it. I may not be one of the most reviewable but I am reliable lol

There are a few problems with any system based on reviews. It's well known that mature escorts, dommes, black escorts and bbw's tend to get fewer reviews for the same number of clients. Escorts who work in small towns are also at a disadvantage, because they tend to see the same clients again and again but get only one review.

I've just checked my few reviews and I can't see a score on there anywhere. Where is it shown? Also one of mine says that he is 'very unhappy' with the accuracy of my pictures, but then puts me as 'very attractive' so I'm guessing the first was a mistake? Does that have an impact on the overall score?

Maybe he's "very unhappy" with the pictures because he thinks you look much better in person. It's more likely that he was just confused. As Forrest pointed out above, it is a confusing process. The default option for each question is the worst answer. In any case, it doesn't affect the list.

You do need one, and some escorts tried to create one years ago, but punters freaked out. That's what sunk the site which was the main Irish escort site before this one.

I think at this point I'm more aware than most people that the list has serious problems, but when I ask for suggestions on how to improve it, as I did above, I almost never get anything useful in reply.

Just to let people know, I've had to remove the escort locations part of the blog. A few weeks ago E-I changed all the profile id numbers, presumably to make it harder for people tracking profiles. A side effect is that I can no longer match my list, which has the old id numbers, to the profile locations, which use the new id numbers.

On a related note, at some later point I will have to remove the blog entirely. Updating the list has become impossible, since I can't match escorts' old reviews to their new ones. I'll leave it up for now, but it will become increasingly outdated, and at some point it will be too out of date to be useful.

sad to hear that El Gordo thank for all the hard work that you put into it EI should be grateful to you for that too i hope EI can come up with someway to keep the bolg going.
