I think a member trying to get another member banned should be hit with a serious warning of a ban for themselves. This is whether requesting a member to be banned by PM to the moderators or trying to whip up a frenzy on general chat. It happens too often...dirty tricks and some mods are weaker than others.

The John Dunne character and his cast of merry men will be sorted by the mods eventually. If his life is empty enough to continue to do that...not worth concerning yourself. Who was Dick Rogers though ? He was pretty funny.

On the subject of trolls...it's a word thrown around here constantly. What about IDF getting negative reputation on the music thread recently? He played a song and the accompanying comment was - "This man is scum."...I repeat he played a song. Not trolling no? The culprit I would guess is a respected, long term member with all green bars, but he couldn't be a troll? I got nasty comments about my daughter (vile stuff)...also alcoholism stuff. I mentioned to a mod before and asked why they don't leave the neg rep, but take away the comment option? I got the feeling they were getting kicks out of the comments and refuse to remove that option. Basically the comment section you can say absolutely anything and it's fair game. Stuff you would get a permanent ban for if said on the forum. Strange that they like it .

Some people could do with a trip to the Doctor's to get their heads checked.

If it is him, thanks for the heads up , back in the day red bars were used as a way of outing several of the worst on their return , not read any of the posts but will keep an eye. As to you being banned yourself , nope dont see that , however if some are abusing rockerman as detailed thats not on either especially daughter related , IDF thats an open wound that wont heal , no winners there not him .not the advertiser Steph , and certainly not the site.

I get on well with IDF, but I ain't interested in his rows and I've told him this...I have enough of my own. You play songs...you would not like neg rep for playing a song and then getting tagged - "This man is scum."...that is online bullying. My point was in a general sense there is a lot of influencing from some members to get what they want...as in certain members banned.

i know all the players well, you only a little although my first encounter with you a little bit "and who are you " when you responded to me so perhaps look at that a little less direct aggression and language might not go astray . IDF and that feud has now deep roots I wish it would stop a truce called . Songs posted are not taken in isolation when there is history , be that right or wrong . I don't recall engaging with yourself. I engage with anyone...no agenda here. I react to the post not the poster. I have agreed/disagreed with the same member plenty of times.

I put up a thread...got banned over it. It was off topic from the first response and went downhill. I will never be told to stay on topic by the mods again. Yes a hint of sarcasm in said thread, but still a genuine query and my original post was all true... happened many times.

I am paying for it now in other ways. Unbelievable actually.

Regarding your offer of support...I don't need it, but thanks. Fact is you'll never see it because it's cowards who do it behind anonymity. The worst stuff has gone away. Doesn't bother me so much now.
