Making sex purchase illegal hasn't stopped human trafficking and won't. If punters were free of potential prosecution they might be more willing to report suspicions.

I'd love to know how many people are trafficked for slave labour reasons. What about housekeepers in big houses in the likes of Howth being paid dirt for working 24/7 and not allowed leave?

I am very sorry but I don’t really believe many escorts are slavery here, if I have to do sex with a client and I don’t want to do, I will ask my first client to help to send the police, even if I don’t speak English I know what means police and don’t tell me when you see a scared girl and she is keep saying police and she is absolutely not happy about to have sex with you won’t help. I feel this article for propaganda of the Ruhama.

& we had very difficult time here during the lockdowns why this fucking good Ruhama didn’t help for escorts when they really needed help?

I totally agree with you. The majority of escorts in Ireland are business women running their own businesses. The police are using trafficking legislation to crack down on sex workers, or rather the clients of sex workers. This operation both sides of the border was to close "brothels" which in reality may only have been two girls sharing an apartment. It was designed to frighten landlords renting to escorts, a clever way of immigration doing spot checks and the perhaps the Inland revenue getting their day in the sun as well. If the police openly went after sex workers there could have been recourse, this way they are playing the knight in shining armour while damaging escorts businesses.
