    19 races so far.
    Won 13
    Podiums 15 [1 second, 1 third]
    First race season, Bahrain, 19th
    Monaco 3rd
    Australian Did not finish
    British 7th

Bad start to the season with 19th in first race and the third race (Australia) he did not finish. But pretty dominant since then. Mercedes look fast at this circuit and it suits them but if Max gets a good start and has no issues looks like another win for him.

Sergio Perez will be disappointed starting fourth because this is his home track.

Longest run down from the start in the season. Pole position often not an advantage. Hasn't been won from pole in four years because of the slip stream effect.
But, Max Verstappen holds off a challenge from George Russell to stay first.
George Russell overtaken by Lewis Hamilton, Lewis now second. Sergio Perez overtakes George Russell.

    4. George Russell (Mercedes)
    5. Carlos Sainz (Ferrari)

Max Verstappen started on soft tyres. Gave him a good start but will soon start to degrade.

Lewis Hamilton putting pressure on Max Verstappen. Pit time lost about 23 seconds, but about 12 under safety car. Max could use a safety car.

Max Verstappen will soon need to pit. Lap 24 of 71.

He is complaining about the cars handling.

Sergio Perez pits for mediums. Slow stop. Out in sixth, behind the Ferraris
