David de Gea has left utd. He was with them since 2011. Will onana be their new number one?

A little surprised by that, I thought it was one of those things that would sort itself out ,
I always considered him a class keeper, change of keeper will cause a problem, in that it can take a while to settle in .
A couple of top keepers around Europe, but won’t come cheap .

I think it was time for him to go, too many costly mistakes, maybe he needs a change of scenery to recover his form, think he needed a good number two keeper there to keep him fighting for his place. Would think he is worth a few bob in a transfer fee so Utd missing that and he will get a fair whack of a signing on fee and wages else where

You are probably right, he will definitely move to a top club and have a serious signing on fee , I found it hard to understand how he could make the mistakes he made, yet make such fantastic saves. Could be a concentration thing .

    David De Gea -

545 appearances for United which puts him 7th on United's all time appearance list.

190 clean sheets for United (club record).

147 Premier League clean sheets (4th most in Premier League history).

Absolutely brilliant goalkeeper and club legend. Sad to see him go and I wish him all the best.

Harry Maguire has announced that he has been stripped of the captaincy at Man Utd, more worrying, stories surfacing linking him with a move West Ham, hopefully is 180k per week will put a halt to that

Id say he would be more than happy to take a pay cut to join a big club like West Ham .
Maguire could regain a bit of form and confidence with a club like West Ham , he wouldn’t be under the radar the same as he was with Man Utd.

Do the hammers not have enough of defenders already? Or what part of the team would be their main priority to strenghten.
