It would vary a lot depending on the type of bomb used. For example an atomic bomb, which was dropped in Japan in wwii, would wipe out most of Belfast for example. However a hydrogen bomb would have a much greater damage radius. But a hydrogen bomb has yet to be used as a means of warefare I believe and I don’t believe there is many countries who actually have them.

There is an underground nuclear bunker in Co Antrim, fully stocked with its original equipment and fittings. It was on the market but has been taken off due to safety concerns, wink wink.

Sweden's porn preferences vs radiation received from Chernobyl.

Nina, I think your scientific description FUCKED is a pretty accurate one. After Chernoble Wicklow lambs had to be destroyed as rain fell from the Cherynobal site.
In the late 50’s early 60’s rain fell in Dundalk an hour after a leak from Windscale. A group of teenage girls from one class in one school were caught in the rain. Years later those girls had significant problems conceiving

I remember watching loads of documentaries about Chernobyl and the devastating effects it had all around europe. Especially in the countries belonging to the eastern block.i am a docu fan. Might not be 100% accurate but still pretty close

The after effects of the disaster and fallout were far far less than what was assumed. The first responders to the melt down, those exposed initially suffered from radiation but cancers were at normal levels for surrounding areas soon after

If NI will be nuked then the whole world will be fucked... There's no reason for Russia nuke Ireland or NI. In that war even without direct attack about 80% of the world will be polluted for thousand years in advance... Wind, rain will spread radioactive materials throughout the globus... That's the theory of that war.
Practically there were few thousand nukes blasted in air... We survived... There peoples living their lives around Semipalatinsk, in Nevada...
So I think it could be dangerous for some short period (I mean year or two). Some places like close to nuclear plants can be for longer. There still some people living in Chernobyl area...
Even theorical if you get under direct blast and you survive it, you can go outside on fourth day out of you bunker.
    PEACE!
Take me to the moon babe...
