Reviews: Should there be a limit?

I understand you point Sav. But l think 3 reviews per girl is more than enough.Surely You have made your mind and you had a chance to have your say.

My point is:
Back in the old days when a girl had 100 reviews it ment 100 different opinions. ( only 1 review allowed back then)
Nowadays a profile with 100 reviews is 50 or less opinions because repeat visit.

The review system is supposed to keep track of the encounters escorts have and their clients' ratings of those encounters. I imagine, I just imagine, that all the encounters are different.
What is the problem with their clients keeping a record of each and every encounter? Are they all the same?

A good number are 3 reviews based on what exactly?
Isn't it a good sign that an escort has clients who want to visit her constantly?

I ask these questions a bit to find out what the problem is now.

I honestly don't think there is a problem. My motivation for starting the thread was seeing some complaints about the review system in other threads.

The system allows for clients to leave just one review, three, none or any number they please. If a provider doesn't want clients to leave a review they can opt out or ask that they leave only one etc.
If there was to be a limit on the number of reviews then there are some implications: there would need to be some other metric used for EOTM or it should be discontinued. I like that there is EOTM and I know that providers like it too.
Saying that limiting the reviews a client could leave would prevent fake reviews is naïve, there will always be ways to exploit the system.

Ah here. How would you be sad for having a regular? Loads of lads have a regular. I've seen one guy with about 80 reviews for his regular. I've met loads of girls and reviewed plenty...more than yourself...yeah I know ya stopped because you were pissed with the system. I have a missus so having one good regular who is super reliable is great for me. I used to meet two girls every Saturday. For now I'm happy enough with my regular til she heads home. Did ya never have a regular? Surely they'd be begging yourself to come back being the best looking punter in the country .

The rules state that a client can leave a maximum of 1 review per advertiser per week. Is this too much? Should it just be one review per advertiser?

It used to be one review per advertiser, and was then changed to one review per week.

Back in the day the review system was a lot more user friendly. My own rule of thumb was that if an escort had 10 -12 reviews then that was plenty to form an opinion from.

Now it's common for escorts to quickly have 50, 60, 80 reviews. So you see an escort has garnered 80 reviews in short order and just assume that she must be pretty good. Then you look more closely and see that 3 clients have left an average of 25 reviews each and the remaining 5 are one-off reviews and suddenly the record doesn't look that good.

Things are not going to change as it suits EI and suits escorts to have it this way. Tbh I didn't even think of the issue regarding the client waving his 25 reviews over an escort and the possibility of using that as leverage for his own benefit. The review system as it was had its issues but was miles better than the current one which aims to obfuscate as much as possible.

A last point - most reviewers seem to have never darkened the forum. This seems odd to me. If I see a reviewer's name that's familiar then I'm more likely to give it credence but these random reviewers I tend to dismiss.
