Thread: New research on Sex Work from University of Limerick

  1. Default New research on Sex Work from University of Limerick

Irish Examiner article discussing report https://www.irishexaminer.com/news/arid-40946936.html
    Actual report https://www.ul.ie/engage/sites/defau...Edit%20002.pdf

A lot of interesting discussion about current laws in Ireland contained in the report:
The current law does not protect the safety of sex workers
An Garda Síochána: Discriminatory enforcement against sex workers
On the importance of repealing existing laws and refraining from the discriminatory enforcement
A clear distinction between sex work as opposed to sexual exploitation and sex-trafficking
