What's concerning is that Putin moved most of his family to an under ground city somewhere in Siberia.. by the summer the west is going to be involved in direct conventional confrontation with Russia. Will the Chinese try to stay in the middle ground? Both side will have the nuclear option in reserve. Is Putin and those around him bad enough to resort to Satan 2? Who knows.
The west has nuclear subs dotted below the surface on either side of Russia, and putin must know that if they use nuclear weapons, everywhere in Russia from St petersburg & Moscow to Vladivostok will be reduced to very large car parks if they go down that road.

One interesting thing I saw lately. The Russians have more nukes than the US but Nato are close to the same number as Russia. Not quite but competitive. Russia has more advanced but harder punchers lost to Ali. I hate saying it but I think some day, don't know when, Russia are going to be hit and hit real hard.
