Putin gambling that the west is a fickle enemy with the attention span of a tiktok video. He may be right. For the long term security of eastern Europe, we should hope he's wrong. One thing is clear is that Europe needs to be able to defend itself as the US can't be depended upon in the long term. This is this European generation's sudetenland moment.

The fervor to aid had cooled , other crises topping people’s attention , and

other geopolitical players distracting from This conflict at hand — which imo

is a Vital conflict that should need to be resolved to the West’s interest :: for it

to end the other way around - with Rus victory - shall extend the hardship ,

Europe’s cost of living , and will fuel Putin’s expansionist ideology and aims .

— ‘throw in there’ Alexei Navalny’s recent death / murder — and the new prez term for Putin .

There will be no political , economic , military security on doorstep of Europe with a Rus win .

It astounds me and saddens me so that my own govt is so politically corrupt and torn , that

would , how could US Ever Again stand staunch on Human Rights , and civility !?

Create a vacuum , Chaos will follow .

While we are continuing to funnel billions of dollars to the eradication of a people in Their

homeland ,

Republicans are holding up military aid to Ukraine — which conflict imo has a much greater

impact on the future of Europe >> and the World being so small , impact on global direction .

With US Prez Election looming and the state of our State ,

with future of our NATO membership in question :

Europe would do Well to prepare to become an Independent Power onto themselves .

Is That possible ?

Does EU have enough political / economic / military resources while hiring for Diversity ,

to face down an adversary on their doorstep , on their own ?
