So long the pipeline was functional , the temptation for Germany to break with EU to save its own skin

would have been too great .

: if Germany was to break the alliance - albeit for its own survival - , EU as a whole would’ve fallen apart .

That goes for NATO as well . : hence pipeline sabotage .

yes,but i'm not the kind of personality that can view that as proof of action.

im a fact based organism,in fact i hate speculating too much about anything so i'm
going to stop,ya'll will have to speculate without me lol

i did,but i've also read that the german government have been working their estimates off the probability
of no russian gas this winter even before the pipes went bang

All I can tell you for sure is if the EU wasn't worried about a gas shortage this winter they would included gas in the sanctions. But they didn't and still haven't. That tells me the EU is worried. Otherwise why not outright ban it from the start?

in the first couple of months there was great fear of a gas shortage crisis,but in the last month or so
those fears seem to have allayed,if not disappeared,a good deal as the reserves have neared 100% capacity
before november which is why i believe that the bargaining power of those pipeliness is overstated
