Not sure of the extent of the damage but anything involving garages costs a shitload, I don’t get away from a basic service for anything under 500 so good luck

    Suspension parts are relatively cheap.
Depends very much on the car.
Also, depends on what exactly is wrong.
Cars don't have axles, perhaps you mean a half shaft which rarely get damaged in a whack off a path or similar.
This said it could be, and so could you gearbox.

I'd need more information, and the type and year of car to suggest anything

Without more information it's hard to say. I'll assume you have damaged the front near side only and it looks worse than it actually is.
    You have 3 options
    1. Get a local independent mechanic to list the parts required. You can source the entire strut, wishbone and all drop other damaged parts from any decent scrap yard very cheaply. Entire strut would be about €100-€300

    2. Same as above but source parts in you local motor factors. Personnel I'd leave the mechanic source them with this route as there is a lot of individual parts that need to be ordered. Parts cost depending on model or make could be anywhere from €400-€1000. I have a invoice here in front of me for an A6 wishbone and that alone was €242

3 Go the main dealer route and remortgage the house

Your mechanic will be able to give you an overall price to get the entire job done. A bent or damaged wishbone looks worse than it actually is.
