I have asked in the past why is there no escorts in Sligo. I got my answer today when I read the local paper. 2 people fined 300 euro each for "using the service of a prostitute" in the town last November. (Papers words, not mine)

Poor guys should have got a finders fee for locating an escort instead of a fine, i don’t know if it’s a lack of accommodation and/or decent clients but there’s usually no escorts within 50 miles of there

That's not the reason
The reason is lack of suitable accommodations
Hotels in sligo have a strict 4pm checkin unfortunately
I got to my hotel at 3pm last month and had to come bk at least an hour later

By the time I unpacked my suitcase of dildos and

Actually it wasn't an apartment that was in use for long. Guards gave evidence that they had a few places under surveillance for over a month. I'm not sure does this mean that there will be more punters coming before the court or were they the only 2 to admit paying money to the girls. The most popular apartment in town was in operation about 4 years. It was used by top end escorts and while it wasn't a bit discreet and only 100 metres from the cop shop it never got visited by the boys in blue. Made me wonder who actually owned the apartment ???

they brought their issues on themselves, those girls would fall right into the category that the gardai would be focusing on at the moment, that’s the risks that come with the escorts at the lower end of the price range, you wouldn’t need to be a genius to identify and assess those risks but I doubt we’re dealing with geniuses in this case.

As someone said earlier they had surveillance on the place for a while so I wonder is it just the 2 caught.
