Riddle

You are walking along a road and you come to a fork in the road.
One road leads to death; the other to eternal bliss.
You don't know which is which.
At the fork, you meet two brothers who know which way is which.
One brother always tells the truth and the other always lies.
You can only ask them one question.
How would you decide which path to take?

Ask "If I asked your brother which is the good road, what would he say?"

If you ask the truth-telling brother, he will point to the bad road, because this is what the lying brother would point to.

Alternatively, if you ask the lying brother, he will also point to the bad road, because this is NOT what the truth-telling brother would point to.

So whichever road is pointed to, you should go through the other one....simples, i think

if I asked your brother, 'is this the way to death', would he agree?

If the answer is no, no matter which brother I ask, then that is the road to death.
