Weird photoshopped faces

I've noticed recently , but maybe it's always like this, but a lot of pictures have just faces badly photoshopped on them...maybe the actual faces but colours/smiles look very weird on them. Has anyone noticed this

I suspect there are more photos that have been touched up than not, kind of like makeup. To many effects spoil the look.
