yes Robbie, were they not voluntary, i believe so, westie too and sure didn't one Mod become a highwayman as getting none from E-I, Stand and DeliverNever knew it was unpaid!

Westie a good friend, I think and even as a guest on here I had great admiration for doc, sound fair guy and sure he wasn't afraid to put you in your place many of times too James lad
I am a Mod myself on a forum over here, Not long and its voluntary so I don't get paid, maybe there will be perks ( freebies with some hot girls) but no cash. Anything goes on it really so not alot to do but to keep the peace every now and then.

Mods are needed unfortunately due to many things.
But certainly wouldn't do it for free.

This forum would be total carnage without moderators.
When the Live Chat Room function was in operation, i was told 91% of all moderator activity was from chat room abuse/advertising.
Not surprised they got rid of it but there was an awful lot of unhappy members!

When I modded the chat room had very little to do with anything. It was mostly posting on the forums with the exception of private issues and just to clarlfy EI never gave any personal info about anyone here. It was kept to usernames.
