We should’ve trained 300,000 Women Soldiers / Security Forces .

They have everything to lose = no 75,000 ragtag illiterate horde of

Taliban would’ve stood a chance against them .

The Uk / US trained male army worked only for their latest masters and for a paycheck .

Women would’ve fought tooth and nail , fight to their last breath .

Afghanistan would still be standing and Talibs be rooted
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

Typical American right wing militarist solution to everything. Violence. So you you would train up the first generation of educated, liberated girls, woman to throw away their lives to do what the biggest military machine in the history of the world could not do? Or are you just having a laugh at a subject that most right thinking people are very upset about?

America spent $83billion training and equipping the Afghan security forces.

Changing cultures takes generations, not simply a couple of decades. We in Ireland should know after a century of Catholic meddling in the constitution, schooling, and family homes.

And while we congratulate ourselves on our enlightenment, it didn't come through military revolution, it came through separation of church and state, and heavy investment in education.

A country as old as Afghanistan cannot be changed by external forces. The change has to come from within. It will, as usual, be messy and will take generations. A female military... if it were only so simple.

Just think if America did not have such a schizophrenic view of the world? America would be a paradise on earth. The authorities would not train its police to kill their own people in military actions because of the colour of their citizen's skin. The billions of taxpayers money would be spent on infrastructure, education etc. Would act as a world police to preserve and promote the democracy for the right-thinking people of the world and equality for everybody that everyone would support, and not big business like it always does.

I don't think that has happened yet gonzo76 TBH. The church still controls education in Ireland.

: I wouldn’t consider having a military career in defense of one’s homeland

and way of life , as throwing away their lives .

Afghani men had not much to lose by discarding their uniforms and melting

right back into the patriarchal society .

Women had / have Everything to lose .

They would’ve fought - quite likely Coalition forces would’ve been able to

leave much sooner and leave the country in capable hands .

: all those female activist , female educators , female social workers , female doctors

would’ve been able to make a much greater impact over the preceding years and

the country’s girls would be Safe , free to study , free to work .

300,000 mother tigers fighting for and protecting their ‘young’ , protecting their

    own lives .

Afghan would still be standing .
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

    Khaddafi / Gaddafi ( Mu'ammar Al-Qadhdhāfī ) of Lybia had plenty Options ,

yet His personal bodyguard outfit was an Elite all Female unit .

Highly trained , implicitly trusted to protect the head of state .

    Women Can fight .

Look at Kurd female fighters -
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.
