You know, PrEP, Pre-exposure prophylaxis (and PEP for post-exposure), is not a drug itself but is a mix of approved medications (in theory, any approved mix?) I think you may be thinking of what happens when they (trial?) doxycycline, the antibiotic, in STI prophylaxis? Proof is a v strong word, and I haven’t a clue either way because I haven’t read enough. However, in Ireland, we use tenofovir/emtricitabine disoproxil (anti-vitals) in our PrEP neither of which combat the bacteria responsible for Syphilis. You’re English though, aren’t you? I don’t know what goes on over there, or what they might be giving you on top of your PrEP…

Isn't it hilarious that someone would unquestionably take this cocktail of drugs when the benefit is murky but the risk is clear... But the same person doesn't think there has been enough analysis of a covid vaccine...

me you mean, oh gonzo, Was wondering when you were going to pop up,no its not, prep be about ages and well tested in trials and actually works with little or no side effects for most people, no clots or anything serious, that from the specialists too and the vaccines are still on trial and just too many of them too and have some serious side effects for some people and I dont like anyone injecting this unknown and precarious stuff into me. I did say I wait til next year as things may become clearer that is all i said.
Again its the person's choice which you still can't accept and that is what I find hilarious, its my body gonzo, yes my body not yours so hands off please.
