Default Did You Get Your Covid Cert Yet?

I got mine after 11PM by email a few days ago.

I was wondering will it be sufficient just to print it off like the old boarding passes and use it at an airport or will I have to go through a nightmare rigmarole of downloading from my phone and hoping that my phone works abroad and has enough battery etc!

And do you still reckon The UK will be included as a regular travel country for us (getting back without quarantine/self isolation) post July 19 as Ryano said previously!

    Maybe better to print too.

Last time when I went to London from Dublin. Nobody asked anything. Not even a test. ( a few weeks ago, I was tested )
On the way back I landed in Belfast. ( “ just from London? “ “ sure”)

The next stop finally Budapest. The HU gov sent by post my Hu vaccine card, it’s like a plastic card. ( in HU no need
vaccine for this card, you can have after COVID also )

I threw it everywhere, downloaded on phone and on PC, spread to my e-mails and dropbox, just so I have access to a copy anytime. The only thing I'm missing is printing it and haven't done it yet because I don't have easy access to a printer.
Hope to get a more practical plastic card at some point.

Try printing it. Somebody fucked up as fold positions in wrong place and looks a mess when folded as in guide on cert.

A senior Citizen whom I know get their cert posted to them in a Revenue Commissioners' Envelope.
And since, I have been told others have been processed in a similar way!
An Eldery person, in particular, could get a heart attack from an unexpected letter from Revenue!
What sort of a gobshyte thought this was a good idea!

To add the Travel cert to the hse Covidtracker app.
In your device update hse app to latest version.
An additional tab is now on the home page of the App called "View EU digital Covid certificate"
Most have received the pdf hard copy of the certificate, display this (The QR code) on another device, laptop screen another phone ect.
Use the new section on the Covid app to scan the QR code and the certificate is automatically added into the Covid app.

Alternatively is you don't want to use the HSE app you can use another from the app store called Green Pass which doesn't have the track and trace functionality of the hse Covidtracker system.

Also you can just print it out and just include the hard copy with your other travel docs.

A couple of days after I got an email with my Covid cert the app instructed me to scan the Q code, now the cert is on the app too.
