Personally, I don't think it's a bad idea because I've lost it to an escort and so did my best friend. But the thing is that I went with my older cousin who was already experienced in this and made me feel less anxious about it. It was great haha.
I did the same for my friend. Literally walked him to the door as he was shaking and started to back out when I gave him a lift. I told the lady it was his first time and everything went well from what he told me.
