It really depends. There are "hotspots" at nearly every wider location and you will be able to identify them if you hang around this community. Ideally, if I can figure it out, i'll either visit a hotel or someone i know is renting an airbnb for a short term. I find myself most comfortable in those circumstances. Visited at IFSC about 4 times, one of those was at a gated, escort's permanent residence and the other a shared long-term escort apartment. I was fine but despite the latter being my top 3 punt I wouldn't visit such accommodation anymore because I am just paranoid, really.

Just use your head and keep your eyes open. You can always walk away. Most arrests are done in avoidable circumstances and out of proportion to overall number of punts happening. It's mostly fearmongering. You'll get a lot from experience that will help you mitigate future fuck ups making a chance of getting caught from .03% to absolute zero. I am 100% convinced I have passed an undercover garda at one point.

Hey all. First timer here and I'm noticing a lot of escorts are around the IFSC. What's the story with that? I know the Gardaí tend to target and I fear running into an officer.

I lived there for 8 years and I don't living there because the rent is very expensive, for me it's the best place in ireland for live, its safe for sure, I rented apartment there in 2010 and my friend still living there and we never had problems.

IFSC not safe? When I first arrived in Ireland and rented in Dublin 9 on a bad area( see my first review) lots of clients told me i,m in a bad area and not safe so I asked all of them what area would they recommend me to rent as I,m first time in Ireland and dont know what areas are safe, good or bad and every single of them told me IFSC.

p.s 9 escorts advertising in IFSC are not ''a lot of escorts'' considering there are 224 escorts in Dublin. Not many at all !

Providers indicate general location IFSC but this could be any apartment block in D1 from the back of Connolly station down as far as the Point Depot.

Never had any problem with this location, there is one particular apartment that I have visited over the years that has a business in the same building,
So in the unlikely event of being questioned you have a ready made reason for being there
