Dramatic improvement, King makes it 4-2 , hat trick for King ,
Benteke has a goal disallowed for Palace, still 1-1

I couldn’t see that coming, I suppose that is why we love soccer and sport
For me the big surprise is that a Rafa team conceding 5 , no more than Jose with Roma , they are both so defence minded , Rafa will be livid
Man City score Gundogan with the goal , I’d say City will win 4-1

Its a game that Shane might be content enough to sit on bench , tough week for Brighton, away to Liverpool next Saturday

I would just be happy if they didn't become another plastic club, only challenging for honours and playing Champions League football because of their owners.

The top 4 is a crowded marketplace as it is, so they may have to settle for being a top 5-8 team like Leicester

Thanks , but I did make prediction as City went 1-0 up , and that would indicate a big city win
The extra few pints will come if Liverpool could get a 4-1 away win tomorrow
Chelsea and Man City doing really well now so Liverpool need to win to stay in touch

I think there is absolutely no doubt Newcastle will become the sort of club you refer to , I’m not sure if “plastic “ is the correct word , but I know what you mean , I think a collection of journeymen will bring them to Brink of top 6 or 8 and then if they can invest in top players to push for top 4 , all that is a massive task
I do think that Liverpool have managed to retain their core values of the Shankley and Paisley era , as best they can , with what they are competing against
The others are wealthy conglomerates with an expensive toy , FSG not as bad
