Punting Abroad

Hi All,
I'm considering going away somewhere in Europe later in the year for a weekend punting. Any suggestions for a destination? I'm looking at bratislava at the moment, but mostly because I'd like to visit and flights and hotels work out well, but I'm open to suggestions.
Also any good alibis for getting away?! I'm thinking stag party, but not sure if this is a runner!

Just tell anyone that asks in a deadpan fashion that you are going punting because you don't like having to sneak around here all the time. Chances are that they won't believe you..

I was thinking maybe a voluntary Mod, I wonder what the perks would be
