Wet start. Drizzle, now actual rain. Not wet enough for wet tyres, possibly too wet for intermediates.

Lewis Hamilton gets good start. Max Verstappen goes too deep and gets damage after hitting Lando Norris. Lot of collisions and damage. Race suspended.
Lewis Hamilton has the advantage of being in front and avoided the carnage behind. Major incident for a lot of cars on the left side of the grid. Valtteri Bottas major damage and cannot continue. He has started a chain reaction that has damaged both Red Bulls and quite a few others. Could get a penalty for the next race.

Max Verstappen has a lot of damage. Starting thirteenth, question of damage limitation and how much he can salvage from this race

Track drying. Looks like everyone is pitting for dry tyres except for Lewis Hamilton. Strange.

Esteban Ocon leads the Grand Prix. Mercedes perhaps has got it wrong.

George Russell has no problem but had to give up places because he overtook in the pit lane.

He should have. Perhaps because he was in front it was not obvious and Mercedes thought the intermediate tyres would work for a few laps.
