Hi all,
Just wondering from general experience, are UK based SIM cards ignored when calling from them? Do you generally have more luck with an Irish one?
I'm not getting anyone picking up.

Depends on who issued it. Problems sometimes with Asda and Tesco cards. O2, Vodaphone ect. never had any problems.
Yeah not that I'm having a problem making the call, it's ringing alright, going to voicemail and all, just nobody picking up. Thought maybe the girls don't like UK numbers or something?
I have used Irish ones in the North and UK ones in the South. Never had any problems. Except once when an escort did not answer a UK based ASDA card, and that was in the North. Had another card and phoned her on it. I have heard of people having problems with Tesco cards. But generally it is not a problem. SIM cards of whatever flavour are easy enough to get anyhow.
Okay, thanks man! I must just be unlucky, or the girls too busy.
Sunday sometimes can be a bad time to ring. I think sometimes it is the day they move to another place, or perhaps Saturday night is busy, and they work late and don't start too early Sunday. Perhaps it has nothing to do with the SIM.
Yeah maybe. Both were listed as being in the area for another few days, so I doubt a move was on the cards. One was actually booked for this morning and then didn't answer her phone when I went to confirm. Tried her 3 times and it just rang out. Very frustrating when you think you already have a booking agreed.
Yeah, can't be a regular if you can't get the first appointment though. Thought I'd done everything by the book, called her a day in advance, then called to confirm, what else can I do?
