Nooo! I want to introduce that jellyish goo into my new garden pond BUT I don't want to lead them baby frogs to an early death by doing so....

It's a tiny wee pond btw, anyone with advice about raising baby frogs or pondlife in general please pm me.

    Ribbet.

What do you need to know.I have a small pond in each tunnel with a few frogs in each, they eat those sneaky slugs that will destroy your veg.
    Civility costs you nothing.

    An illegal hoot to boot.

Frogs are protected under the European Union Habitats Directive and by the Irish Wildlife Act.

The Common Frog (Rana temporaria) is the only species of frog found in Ireland and is listed as an internationally important species.

Gone are the days of the live frog swallowing competitions in Ballycumber, Co. Offaly.
