Done that before but the blood clotted so they could only test the urine.
They need a fair bit of blood as you cant always guarantee it . Its hard to get the piercing just right too and you only really get 2 goes at it.

They send you lancets to prick the end of your finger and draw a few drops of blood.
The trick is to wipe the first few drops of blood away as they are the ones that tend to clot.
A hot shower before hand also helps with blood flow. And holding your hand down while massaging the finger helps.
Even with all that I have always had to use all 3 lancets they sent me.
It is a terrific service.

LANCETS , that was the word i was looking for!!
i only got 3 , then they sent another 3 out to me, only for them not to be able to test it, major waste of time.
But if i did it again , i reckon i could get it done properly but again i wouldn't be 100%.

I used to pay for the tests, ran me €150 each time.
SH24 is great, test out in 2 days, results in under 7.
If you are sleeping with multiple people it's highly advisable to avail of this free service

I had the same problem, wash hands in warm water as said above and massage the finger towards the pierce. Once I done it that way the problem I had was trying to stop the blood coming out
