If they truly are interested in stopping traffickers then we would all support this, but I fear they will go for the easy option, the client.

That is a very big IF. I do believe that all posters here would support them if it meant targeting traffickers and pimps, not going for the soft option of targeting clients.
    Hello darkness my old friend.....

True Tony but Ruhama is winning as they are playing the Trafficking card here with the general public now realising just how bad it is, Ruhama are not genuine by any means, rather fake in a way and just looking after number one, they hate the clients like us no matter what country we are from and are constantly wanting the police to do more and tougher laws like France and so forth but clients are doing themselves no favours as they make themselves the easy target. people here go on about police targeting clients in Ireland but its not really is it, if you lived in these other countries then you would really know what targeting was but in Ireland there is no targeting in the same sense I do not understand why clients continue to play into Ruhama hands, why give Ruhama and other groups the satisfaction of ruining it for decent clients and especially escorts who try their hardest to do their bit to distance themselves from trafficking and keeping us and themselves save, its not easy
As said many times before on Here, only way of trying to clear this up a little for the better is clients and escorts to step up to the plate, many escorts are doing so already and clients too
Its not all gloom for us especially guys in Ireland all so don't give up on it, I still punt where in the countries where the NL is and although its made more difficult depending where you are it can be done in safety and be more relaxed for both parties and that is how it should be
Let the client do their homework before a visit and choose an Independent Girl in her own place and freeze the traffickers, pimps and Ruhama out.
Staying safe while visiting an escort can still be done without fear

Gardaí to target men buying sex around big events....

In the piece they say.... "He said men considering paying for sex should be aware the vast majority of women working in the sector had been trafficked and were being exploited."

    Is this true?

    Bullshit.

What means gang? Somebody rent and apt for escorts and the girls pay for the room ONLY because lot of girls are not able to rent own apt or they have family in out of Ireland and they don’t want to stay here too long time.

    Next:

A few idiots still give money for “ helper” or “boyfriend “ it is exactly same like you come here with an illegal agency to do cleaning job because you are simple stupid and you don’t have brain to us the internet.

    AND

In lot of EU country is completely legal business to open a house when escorts are working. You buy or rent a big house and you give room for girls. Like on the rbnb.

    Why is much better?

The owner and the girls pay TAX for the state. The police is visiting the house very often and they can talk open with the girls about everything. The girls and the clients are not scared. The girls have STD check.
Plus they can call the police when a client become aggressive. What is very rare because the girls are never alone. Lot of house have security system.

By highlighting the injustices of society they are changing social conscience and using the law to regulate morality.Scare tactics of public humiliation and criminal sentences are also a deterrent. They don't want to fully decriminalize or legalize the sale of sex, they seek total eradication.
    Civility costs you nothing.

organisations can tell you what you can or can't do with your own body

How long before they go the way of the vice squads in America entrapping clients?
I fear they are just going to force things underground and put the vulnerable girls at more risk.
