    Default 2023 Rugby World Cup

The tournament in France is still almost 3 years away and the final qualifiers will not be decided until November 2022 but the draw for the pool stages of the next World Cup is being held tomorrow. Ireland are in the second pot of seeds and could end up in a group with Scotland and either England or Wales.

Band 1: South Africa, New Zealand, England, Wales
Band 2: Ireland, Australia, France, Japan
Band 3: Scotland, Argentina, Fiji, Italy
    Band 4: Americas 1, Americas 2, Europe 1, Europe 2
Band 5: Africa 1, Oceania 1, Asia / Pacific 1, Final Qualifier Winner

Please don't let Argentina be in our group. We don't have the best history with them in World Cups.

With the 2023 tournament still being so far away who knows what form teams will be in by then? At least we already know that Ireland will not be facing Australia, France or Japan in the pool stage. I think it`s fuckin crazy that the draw is being held so early. It really shouldn`t be until after all the qualifiers have been decided which will not be for almost another 2 years from now.

Hopefully we get wales , there not doing well at the moment!

I think France will win that world cup to be honest, Dupont is nearly best in the world and majority of their players are early twenties

Just heard, we have South Africa, Scotland and a qualifier, if we get through group we probably have New Zealand again in quarterfinals, so at best another quarterfinal exit
    Apologies for negativity

Default Rugby World Cup France 2023 .

Warm up games start this weekend,
Ireland v Italy on Saturday evening.
England v Wales, Gatland very upbeat about Wales prospects.
Much changed Ireland team selected by Farrell, big chance for some players to get to France.
Hope it’s ok to start a new thread.

Scotland yellow card upgraded to red , it was a very dangerous high tackle by Fagerson .
