Keith Earls also announces his retirement. He had 101 caps for us.

Nah, it’s a moving/moveable situation. I thought young Jimmy O’Brien acquitted himself more than well tonight and maybe we could have profited if bringing him in earlier, Hansen, game as ever was out on his feet. Likewise Joe McCarthy, great cameo. Serious questions about our line out coach though.

So how is everyone today? Still heartbroken but thats the way it goes. England v fiji this evening, a month before the tournament started fiji beat them 30-22 in a warm up game. Could they beat them again? Fiji seem to play better when they are underdogs, they almost beat wales, they did beat australia but how did they lose to portugal? I think england will have enough to beat them. Maybe by about 10pts.

Still sad about yesterday. 24:28. So close... J.Sexton will be missed.
Poor him. Would be a great end of his glorious career if they won. Pity he missed that penalty. Last 5mins they tried so hard and push. But NZ it’s very hard opponent.

We were all hoping Sexton could have his Messi moment . The ultimate trophy after a phenomenal career in his twilight years
