    Default Sexual Offences Act 2017 Dail Debate tonight

    Was in my parents house and was just flicking through the channels and came across this live debate on oireachtas tv.

    Obviously couldn't watch it in their company 😂. So sent a recording request to my own sky box.

    I know it was all probably hot air but would be interesting to see what was said

    It was 8.30pm when I came across it. I just saw the title of the debate come up on the screen so not sure if it started then or was inderway for a while at that stage

    The debate had no mention of our industry .

    It was a debate pertaining to sex offenders’ registry and how to enforce it .

    Career offenders / domestic violence offenders have been getting themselves

    off the registry by legally changing their names , or using EU / Google GDPR .

    This debated Amendment aims to put a stop to that loophole x

    My apllogies folks. I just looked back at part of that recording and it was in fact Sex Offenders act not Sexual Offences act. As I said, I had to change away from the channel so when I saw the title of the debate on screen very briefly I thought it said Offences act
