Lewis must have had a real good quali to get second as the Mercedes doesn’t seem to suit the street tracks at all and bottas is well back,
It will be an interesting start as Max is always super aggressive into the first corner..

Qualifying was full of incidents (mostly crashes!)
The problems were caused by a tail wind, difficulties in getting a good car set up and a street track that requires commitment but punishes that commitment if you get it wrong because there are no run-off areas.
A few of the times were set and then there was a red flag caused by a crash blocking the track, preventing anyone else setting a better time. The final positions do not always reflect the true speed of the car. Will be an interesting race with cars in barriers and safety cars, if not actual red flags. Opportunities will occur to pit under a safety car.

Charles Leclerc is fast but his car is not good at preserving tyres so he will need to pit early, putting him at a disadvantage. He will need an opportune safety car.

Three laps in and Lewis Hamilton takes the lead. Mercedes has so much more speed than anyone else.

Lewis Hamilton pits for hard tyres. That should be him to the end of the race. Slightly slow stop due to traffic.

Max Verstappen pits and it is a quick stop.

    Takes the lead.
