After the 1st session of the final Murphy leads Selby 5-3.

this is not the final frame so it won't end 8-8

My mistake, I just assumed there were 8 frames.

Selby 2 up now and appears to be the better and more confident of the 2 players atm.

How did he miss that blue !

This frame could be a very long one, would be great for Murphy to win it

Selby wins the final frame of the day to go 3 frames up. He has played some brilliant stuff tonight .

After the 2nd session of the final Selby leads Murphy 10-7. Selby is in a good position in the match but as Murphy proved in previous rounds he can`t be wtritten off at this stage.

And it's back to 3 frames, Murphy leaving the final black over the middle pocket. Bit of everything in that frame including Selby losing points from a snooker, usually the boot is on the other foot.
