We all know we cannot have a second lockdown , both fanancially and mentally so it,s up to us all to do our part.
Lets all wear a mask when shopping and in enclosed places with loads of people , keep our distances and just think
It,s alls about slowing down the spread of the virus before we get a vaccine and keeping our hospitals clear so they are not over run .
But sadly it,s a trait of the Irish , they hate been told what to do , self entitlement
This isn’t a second wave, it’s local spiking in a first wave, you’re always going to have blips in the numbers, ripples in the wave if you like, we are never going to have another lock down like last time, that was a panic reaction, at worst there will be localised restrictions, why would you have a lockdown in Sligo because there’s a spike in Kildare? makes zero sense on any level. The health service won’t be overrun by people under 50 contracting the virus, this will circulate in society, it’s unavoidable and a vaccine isn’t a silver bullet either, we’ve had a flu vaccine for 80 years and the flu is still active, this country seems determined to talk itself into a second wave, always negative with us, mask up, distance and follow the rules until we are out the other side
